Lucky Points: Barona’s Lunar New Year celebration wouldn’t be complete without extra points from The Point Multiplier Capital of the World^®. So, players will earn 8X points on Friday February 16, 23 and March 2 from 8am to 8pm on slots, keno and video poker.
Lucky Seats: On Monday February 19 and 26 from 10am to 10pm, one lucky player will be drawn to win $888 every 8 minutes.
Lucky Drawings: On Thursday February 22 and March 1, five lucky players will each win $8,888 at midnight.

Adding to the excitement, on Friday February 16, 23 and March 2 at 9 pm a traditional blessing at the Welcome Home entrance will be followed by a colorful parade of Lion and Dragon dancers throughout the casino floor. During the two-week celebration, players will receive Lucky Hong Bao and win cash prizes playing games with the Party People. And, players can also earn bonuses at the table games in Dragon Alley, Barona’s exclusive Asian gaming area, the largest in San Diego.

Barona’s restaurants will be serving traditional cuisine and lobster specials as part of the Lunar New Year celebration. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, lobster lovers should save their appetites and indulge in all-you-can eat lobster at Seasons Fresh Buffet and lobster specials at Sage Café, Ho Wan and Parlor 32 High Limit area. Some of the limited-time lobster dishes will include ginger lobster, lobster martinis and lobster fettuccine. Executive Chef Ringo Lao, who received his culinary training in the bustling Hong Kong restaurant scene, will also prepare traditional favorites such as Vietnamese-style basil lobster, diced beef tenderloin with macadamia nuts, eight treasures sweet congee, and abalone with shiitake mushrooms. Players on a Lunar new year lucky streak can have the celebratory dishes or bento boxes served right at their slot machine or table game when they order through gameside dining.
